Buena Vista Museum Of Natural History Nature Discovery Zone

September 2007 BVMNH opens its newest exhibit!

The Oh! Zone Phase One and Two Compleated!
BVMNH's newest exhibit the Oh! Zone A Science and Discovery Center scheduled to open in three phases. All phases will be areas where children, youth, parents, grandparents and educators, all can enjoy the hands-on, mind stimulating activities. Designed specifically with children in mind, but has something for all ages to enjoy.

Phase one included the Nature Discovery Zone, Reading and Creative stations. Phase two The Explorit Zone, Astronomy, and the Human Body and How it Works! Watch for the grand opening of phase three coming soon.

From Buena Vista Museum, Up-date on Funding Challenge, January 12th, 2009.

Dear Friends of the Museum,
At this time the Buena Vista Museum is pleased to announce that we have received $6000 in donations towards the matching funds. This is Fantastic! We are over half way!

The Museum is hoping to meet the whole $10,000 that the Elam's generously offered to match dollar for dollar. The deadline was the Jan15th and now has been extended to the end of the month. If you have made a donation we thank you, very much. If you are planning on making a donation........ I would encourage you to send it soon. Each and every dollar donated will help the museum to meet this goal. Please, pass this e-mail on to friends, family and persons that you feel might be interested in helping to keep the BV museum alive and thriving. Your help is greatly appreciated.
